Noémie by The Well—a menstrual health education resource—will host a back-to-school visualisation workshop for girls and their families at Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art on Saturday, August 27 from 10 am to 12 pm. Girls With a Vision is a family vision board session that carves out the time and mental space to come together with any girl in your life, ages six to 60 and beyond, and collaborate through a common vision before the start of the crazy school year.
Owner and Managing Director of the social enterprise, Kristen Scott Ndiaye said, “We’re excited to create more opportunities to rally around our girls and teach them about the aspects of women’s health with a community and in a fun way. The workshop at Masterworks will be a light introduction to taking control of our mental health through goal setting and visualisation. This will also be an opportunity to connect with our daughters, stepdaughters, nieces, and friends in a non-traditional way.
“The investment is $35 per person and includes a giant foam core poster board, all materials, tasty treats, plus an interactive lesson to identify the concept of life areas on which one can build out goals for the year. Those interested can register at www.noemiehq.com.
“All stages of womanhood are connected, from self-regulation, and first period to menopause and beyond. We must instil the basic skills in our girls early so that they can know how to build the happy life that they want and the resilience to enjoy the changes to come.”
